In 2018 the Saint Nicholas Federal Credit Union will celebrate a landmark anniversary.
Eighty (YES - Eight Zero) years ago the credit union was founded to support the members of St. Nicholas parish. That was in 1938. A long time ago.
We continue that mission today and have since added the parishioners of St. Andrew and St. Mary's parishes to our field of membership. The latest addition has been the students, staff, and faculty of St. Nicholas - St. Mary Elementary School. Of course, any relative of those potential members can also become shareholders/owners of the credit union.
So how are we going to mark our 80th birthday? With one of our famous Dinner Meetings, of course!
Please plan to join us on Saturday April 21st, 2018 at Andy's Diner on River Road in Plains. Festivities will start at 6:00 pm and go to 9:00 pm. This is a BYOB event that includes a buffet dinner in addition to our annual membership meeting, Hey - This is St. Nick's - you know there will a few tokens of our appreciation for your support and a few door prizes awarded to only our luckiest attendees. This is a non-smoking event. Casual attire.
